Conference on Actual Problems of Reforming Preschool and Primary Education of Ukraine in the Context of European Integration Processes was held at Academician Stepan Demianchuk IUEH

On December 10, 2019, the II All-Ukrainian Scientific-Practical Conference “Actual Problems of Reforming Preschool and Primary Education of Ukraine in the Context of European Integration Processes” was held at the Institute of Pedagogical Education (IPE) at the Academician Stepan Demianchuk IUEH with the participation of scientific and pedagogical staff of the Department of Pedagogy and Primary and Preschool Education of the Academician Stepan Demianchuk IUEH, Department of Pedagogy of Primary Education of the Rivne State University of Humanities (RSUH), Department of Theory and Methods of Primary Education of Lesya Ukrainka Eastern European National University and students of the pedagogical faculties.

The welcoming speech was delivered by the Vice-Rector of Scientific Work, Doctor of Science in Economics, Professor Boreiko V.I. Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy, PhD, Associate Professor Soiko I.M., with reports from the Director of IPE, PhD, Associate Professor Pahuta T.I., Doctor of Science in Pedagogy, Professor of the Department of Pedagogy of Primary Education of the RSUH Shevtsiv Z.M., PhD, Associate Professor of the Department of Pedagogy of Primary Education of the RSUH Yakovyshyna T.V., Head of the Department of Primary and Preschool Education, Doctor of Science in Pedagogy Krasovska O.O and students.

At the meeting, actual problems of V. Sukhomlynskyi’s heritage were discussed in the context of the priorities of the XXI century education; prospects for reforming preschool education in Ukraine; approaches, techniques, technologies for the New Ukrainian School (NUS) and inclusive education; global trends in training a competitive pedagogical specialist; ways of realisation of the competent and contextual approach in professional pedagogical training.

The event was moderated by the Head of the Department of Pedagogy, PhD, Associate Professor Melnychuk Liliia Borysivna.
