Scientific Work
An important component of the Department of Physical Education is the scientific work. The topics of the main scientific researches of the teachers of the department are:
- Programming of sports and wellness programs with different population groups
- Introduction of Olympic Education in the Educational Process of Secondary Schools
- Organization of sports and wellness work of students in extra-curricular time
- History of sports development and formation of Rivne region
- Physical education and sports among youth: problems and perspectives.
In order to improve the professional level of teachers, the department constantly operates scientific and practical seminars: "Innovative technologies of teaching physical culture in secondary schools, "Modern fitness technologies".
Every year the teachers of the department take part in the organization of the traditional student scientific-practical conference "On the way to professional skill", which is attended by students of Lesya Ukrainka Eastern European National University, Lviv State University of Physical Education, Taras Shevchenko Kremenetsk Regional Academy of Humanities and Pedagogics.
Under the guidance of the teachers of the department students are engaged in scientific work, which regularly participate in All-Ukrainian competitions, Olympiads in the field of physical education and sports ("Physical Education", "Fitness and Recreation").
Teachers took part in such conferences as "International Scientific Congress of Historians of Physical Education" History of Physical Education and Sport of the Peoples of Europe (September 18-20, 2017), "International Scientific and Practical Conference" Problems and Prospects of the Development of Higher Education and Economics in XXI Century”, October 26-27, 2017, Rivne.
