Liliia Melnychuk, Head of the Department of General Pedagogy and Primary Education, Associate Professor, received a Certificate of Commendation from the Bath Spa University (UK) for her high professionalism and significant contribution to the organisation and coordination of the International Public Student Readings ‘I Vote for Peace’. The certificate was signed by the Vice-Chancellor of the Bath Spa University, Professor Sue Rigby.
The partner university awarded Liliia Melnychuk for her longsatanding teaching, dedication and continuation of the work of the university's founder, Stepan Demianchuk, namely, educating children on the ideas of peace. The Bath Spa University noted the high level of her organisational skills, professionalism and assistance in the implementation of the project ‘I Vote for Peace: Cooperation and Compassion in a Time of War’.
It should be reminded that the Bath SpaUniversity (UK) and the Academician Stepan Demianchuk International University of Economics and Humanities (Rivne) have been cooperating since 2018. Over the entire period of cooperation, a number of international grant projects and numerous educational and scientific events have been implemented. In 2022-2024, the twin universities jointly implemented the international project ‘I Vote for Peace: Cooperation and Compassion in a Time of War’. The project had significant results in promoting peace during the war both in the Rivne region, Ukraine as a whole, and internationally.
