On May 29, the Academician Stepan Demianchuk International University of Economics and Humanities (MEGU) hosted a workshop entitled “EU Opportunities for Youth”, conducted by Yuliia Shulikova, a Young European Ambassador in Ukraine.
The workshop was organized with the support of the Faculty of Health, Physical Culture and Sports and the International and Project Department of IUEH, whose efforts contributed to creating valuable opportunities for students to learn about European youth initiatives and international mobility programs.
During the event, participants learned about a wide range of European Union programs and initiatives available to young people. The speaker presented opportunities for international educational exchanges, volunteering projects, internships, youth training courses, and professional development programs.
Special attention was given to initiatives that enable students to gain international experience, develop professional and intercultural competencies, establish connections with peers from other countries, and bring their own ideas to life in an international environment.
The workshop was held in an open and interactive format, allowing students to ask questions, share their ideas, and receive practical advice on building their educational and professional pathways within the European community.
At the end of the event, participants took part in a thematic quiz, which gave them an opportunity to test their knowledge of the European Union and the opportunities it offers to young people. The most active and knowledgeable participants became the winners of the quiz and received pleasant prizes.
