Alina Kruhiak, Head of the International and Project Department, took part in the international round table ‘Towards Horizon Europe’, dedicated to discussing the prospects for preparing joint consortium project proposals under the Horizon Europe programme for 2026–2027.
The event took place on 25 May in a hybrid format at University College Cork and brought together representatives of leading international educational, scientific and cultural institutions.
Participants in the round table discussed opportunities for developing international partnerships, forming joint research consortia, and the prospects for Ukrainian organisations’ participation in Horizon Europe calls for proposals.
Representatives of the Global Coalition for Ukrainian Studies, the President of Ukraine’s Foundation for Education, Science and Sport, the Ukrainian Catholic University, the Ukrainian Institute, University College Cork, Dublin City University, University of Galway, University of Hull, the Maidan Revolution Museum, the organisation ‘Future of Religious Heritage’, the Barcelona Supercomputing Centre, and Pennsylvania State University. Participation in the event was an important step towards establishing new international contacts and expanding cooperation in the fields of science, education and cultural heritage within the framework of European programmes.
