The Faculty held a press conference with the winners of the Olympic and Paralympic Games. The students were lucky to talk to the Honored Master of Sports of Ukraine in Judo Iryna Husieva and the Honored Master of Sports of Ukraine in Bullseye shooting Oleh Omelchuk.
The guests told about their way in sports and plans for the near future.
Mrs. Iryna is engaged in judo from a young age with her twin sister Kateryna. Together they are still engaged and are going to open a wrestling hall in Rivne soon. Soon, those who are interested will be able to learn sports skills from one of the most experienced representatives of Ukraine in judo with experience of performing at the Paralympics. The guest shared her impressions and emotions after the final matches at two world-class competitions.
Oleh Omelchuk emphasized the outstanding role of the coach, while he was still a schoolboy, he managed to set standards to be a candidate, and later the master of sports in bullseye shooting. Now training lasts at least five hours of pistol work and endurance exercise is mandatory.
The meeting did not go without gifts: Irina Guseva presented for the Rector's Office with a kimono patch in which she was at the competition in Tokyo.
This press conference continued in the sports hall of the university. Mrs. Iryna personally held a warm-up with the champion with students, which ended with a sea of smiles and positive emotions.
