A delegation from the Academician Stepan Demianchuk International University of Economics and Humanities, consisting of University Rector Professor Vitalii Demianchuk and Head of the International and Project Department Alina Kruhliak, made a working visit to the University of Liverpool (United Kingdom) as part of the Twinning program.
The international conference UK–Ukraine Showcase and Networking Event 2026 brought together a wide range of participants, including representatives of Ukrainian and British universities, Twinning program participants, and members of the ScienceForUkraine initiative.
Alina Kruhliak, together with John Strachan, Vice-Chancellor for Research and Enterprise at Bath Spa University, presented the results of the collaboration. In particular, 108 joint events were held—ranging from academic exchanges and scientific conferences to educational projects and training sessions. Special attention was given to the joint International Readings “I Vote for Peace”, as well as the development of the Center for Peace, Equality, and Sustainable Development.
This partnership has become one of the most productive among Twinning programme participants, demonstrating a successful model of international academic cooperation.
The visit confirmed the high level of cooperation between IUEH and Bath Spa University and opened up new opportunities for implementing new educational and research initiatives.
