Офіційний прийом делегації МЕГУ в мерії міста Бат

On 4 February 2026, the City Hall of Bath (Great Britain) hosted an official reception for a delegation from the Academician Stepan Demianchuk International University of Economics and Humanities (IUEH), which was on a working visit to the United Kingdom. The event was an important part of a programme of international meetings aimed at deepening cooperation in the fields of education, science, culture and inter-institutional dialogue.

The reception at Bath City Hall took place in an atmosphere of constructive partnership and brought together representatives of local authorities, the academic community, public organisations and educational institutions. During the meeting, participants discussed topical issues of international cooperation, the role of universities and local authorities in supporting democratic values, as well as ways to strengthen international solidarity with Ukraine and peacebuilding in the context of full-scale war.

Прийом у мерії м. Бат пройшов у атмосфері конструктивного партнерства й об’єднав представників місцевої влади, академічної спільноти, громадських організацій та освітніх установ. Під час зустрічі було обговорено актуальні питання розвитку міжнародної взаємодії, роль університетів і органів місцевого самоврядування у підтримці демократичних цінностей, а також шляхи посилення міжнародної солідарності з Україною та розбудови миру в умовах повномаштабної війни.

An important topic of discussion was the possible cooperation between the Bath City Council and the Rivne City Administration. The parties exchanged views on the prospects for establishing inter-municipal partnership, particularly in the areas of cultural and educational exchanges and the implementation of joint social and humanitarian initiatives.

Важливою темою обговорення стала можлива співпраця між мерією міста Бат та адміністрацією міста Рівного. Сторони обмінялися баченням перспектив налагодження міжмуніципального партнерства, зокрема у напрямах культурних і освітніх обмінів, реалізації спільних соціальних та гуманітарних ініціатив.

During the official reception, a meeting was held between the IUEH delegation and representatives of the Ukrainian Students' Association at Bath Spa University. The discussion focused on opportunities for expanding academic mobility, involving students in joint educational, scientific and cultural projects, and supporting Ukrainian students studying in Bath.

Під час офіційного прийому відбулася зустріч делегації МЕГУ з представниками Української асоціації студентів Університету Бат Спа. Під час спілкування обговорювалися можливості розширення академічної мобільності, залучення студентів до спільних освітніх, наукових і культурних проєктів, а також підтримки українських студентів, які навчаються у Великій Британії.

Representatives of the Bath City Council expressed their solidarity with Ukraine and emphasised the importance of supporting Ukrainian educational and scientific institutions, as well as developing international cooperation as a tool for sustainable development and intercultural dialogue.
The participation of the IUEH delegation in the official reception at Bath City Council demonstrated the high level of international trust in Ukrainian institutions and was an important step in strengthening the Ukrainian-British partnership in education, science and local government.
