Students and lecturers from the IUEH took part in an international lunch seminar organised by the School of Education at the Bath Spa University (United Kingdom). The event took place on 16 April 2026 and served as an important platform for academic exchange and professional development.
The keynote speaker at the seminar was Simeon Bates, who presented a paper on ‘The Role of Music in Integrating EAL Learners’.

During his presentation, he explored contemporary approaches to using music as an effective tool for engaging and supporting learners from diverse linguistic backgrounds. Particular attention was paid to practical case studies demonstrating how music contributes to the development of language skills, socialisation and emotional well-being among learners.
Such initiatives help to strengthen academic ties and open up new opportunities for joint educational projects
