On November 29, a regular lunch seminar with British colleagues was held. Professors Ben Simmons and Hazel Vernon (Faculty of Education) presented their work on "Cultural Heritage for People with Learning Disabilities".

The seminar was dedicated to Disability History Month. The speakers presented ongoing projects related to accessibility for people with learning disabilities. They talked about accessible communication and access to cultural heritage in the Frome region, as well as a new project on how to make heritage spaces more inclusive for people with intellectual disabilities.

During the presentation, the speakers emphasized the importance of developing and implementing special innovative teaching methods for people with intellectual disabilities.

Professors and students of different specialties of the IUEH joined the discussion on this topic. During the discussion, they also shared their experience of working with children with special needs, namely the work of the Polish-Ukrainian Adaptation Center at the university.
